We are Guilhem and Charles-Louis, two inseparable friends for the past 25 years. Together, we decided to embark on a slightly crazy adventure: to bring a breath of fresh air to the world of quality footwear.
Why? Because we are passionate about fine shoes and elegance.
In France, elegance is a way of life defined by simplicity and pleasure. Fully aware of our cultural heritage, we embrace this French sense of elegance that remains unfazed by the relentless pace of fashion and trends.

THE QUEST FOR PERFECT CRAFTSMANSHIP
The In Corio adventure, which began in 2016, has taken us on an exhilarating journey through France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, meeting artisans as passionate as we are.
After two years of research—designing and refining our models, and selecting the finest materials—our dream finally took shape at our feet.
We have created our ideal shoe: one that combines the craftsmanship of the great shoemakers with the comfort of sneakers.

Our shoes are crafted in family-run workshops in the Porto region, the historic heart of shoemaking in Portugal. From the piping to the stitching, our artisans' touch can be felt in every detail.

Why IN CORIO?
In Corio means "in the leather" in Latin.
For shoe lovers like us, the natural starting point is the beauty of the leathers and the quality of artisanal craftsmanship.
We select only the finest leathers from renowned tanneries in France, England, and Italy. All of them adhere to strict European environmental and social standards and are certified by the Leather Working Group.
Our shoes are crafted in small-scale workshops, ensuring the preservation and transmission of ancestral savoir-faire.
