In Corio is a brand of high quality men’s shoes and accessories sold on line.
‘In Corio’ means ‘in the leather’ in Latin, because a passion for fine leathers and the know-how that enhances them lies at the heart of what we do.

Where do you make In Corio shoes and belts?
Having met many craft workers in France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, we chose those whose know-how enables us to offer elegant, very high quality shoes and accessories and with whom we share the same desire to modernise the range of high quality men's shoes on offer.
Our leather shoes are made in a renowned workshop in the Porto region, the historic heart of shoemaking. A family workshop in southern Italy makes our leather belts by hand. The care products are made in France.

What materials do you use to make In Corio shoes?
We use only the very best leathers. They come from renowned tanneries in France and England for the footwear and Italy for the belts. The demands we make in terms of the origin of our raw materials offer a real guarantee of quality, but also a guarantee of compliance with social and environmental standards.
For the shoe uppers (not including the sole), we use full grain calfskin (the upper part of the skin which is both supple and hard-wearing) from French tanneries in Puy, which are highly prized by leading luxury goods houses. The linings, too, are made entirely of calfskin. The soles are in slow-tanned calfskin(vegetable tanning) in order to improve resistance to wear. They come from Italy.
For the suede calfskin models, we obtain our supplies from a prestigious tannery in England.
In Corio belts are also made entirely of calfskin from Italy.

How do I choose my size?

I have received my shoes. How can I be sure they are the right size?
We hope you will like them as much as we do! The moment has come to try them on for the first time. The following indications will help you determine whether the shoes are indeed your size:
- try on both shoes, because your feet always differ a little from one another
- preferably try them on at the end of the day, when your feet will be slightly swollen
- in length, there should be a little room between your toes and the tip of the shoe
- in width, your foot must be well supported, but this pressure should not be painful. The leather will slacken when you have worn them a few times and you will find them more comfortable.
We recommend that you try your shoes on a non-abrasive surface (rug, fitted carpet) so that you do not mark them in case you would like to return them.

Do you have sales at In Corio ?
We have opted to offer you shoes at a fair price throughout the year, as well as degressive prices so that you can own several pairs of fine shoes. Nevertheless, from time to time we have special offers on certain models which you will find in the section ‘SHOES / THE LAST PAIRS’ (last sizes, shoes with a very slight defect, etc.).

How can you reduce the price by selling several pairs simultaneously?
When you order several In Corio articles simultaneously, we benefit from volume effects, notably with savings on packaging, preparation and shipment. We think it is fair that you should benefit from these savings.
At In Corio, we believe that men should have a larger collection of shoes: if you own a few extra pairs, you will have more choice in the morning to adapt your style as well as possible to your mood at the time, but you will also be able to alternate your footwear more often so that it stays looking better for longer.

How can I take advantage of a multiple purchase offer?
Each category of In Corio products benefits from the multiple purchase offer: shoes, belts, shoe trees, socks and care products.
The degressive price applies within each product category but not between categories. For example, the degressive price will apply if you buy three pairs of shoes or two belts, but not if you buy one pair of shoes with one belt and one shoe polish.
As soon as you add several products from the same category to your basket, the degressive price formula is automatically applied. Please note that for care products, the degressive price applies only as of three articles or more (no degressive price for two care products) and for socks the degressive price applies for three pairs or for five pairs or more.
You will find the degressive prices that you can benefit from alongside each article.

Yes, you can order different shoe sizes and benefit from degressive prices. In particular, this will enable you to place orders with friends or work colleagues. Shoes ordered simultaneously will be delivered at the same time to a single delivery point. (It is not possible to deliver a single order to different places). You can also order socks or shoe trees in different sizes and benefit from degressive prices.

Can I benefit from a tax exemption (VAT)?
Yes. If you have your order delivered in a country outside the EU, you will not be charged French VAT (20%). This will be deducted automatically from your basket and you will not have to pay it.
