Published Jan 22, 2020 at 03:03 amConcernant le produit en lui-même, je reste assez circonspect quant à la qualité du cuir de velours utilisé. en effet, comme je l’ai expliqué au service client, je trouve que le cuir n’est pas homogène sur toute la surface de la chaussure, celui-ci semblant avoir été gratté par endroit, ce qui confère à la chaussure un certain aspect négligé, comme si les bottines n’étaient pas neuves. c’est la raison pour laquelle je resterai très attentif quant à la manière dont ces souliers vont vieillir. en l’état actuel des choses, je vais attendre un peu avant de recommander la marque. sinon, pour finir sur une note positive, outre la réussite esthétique, la promesse de confort semble remplie.

Nos veau velours viennent de la tannerie Stead en Angleterre, sans doute la plus réputée pour cette matière, et qui fournit tous les plus grands chausseurs. Nous pouvons sans hésiter vous rassurer sur la tenue et l'esthétique dans le temps de vos bottines. Il suffit pour l'entretien d'un coup de brosse pour dépoussiérer, et de spray rénovateur pour le daim pour raviver son apparence.

Published Dec 15, 2019 at 12:34 pmLes Gabin sont ma 2ème paire de souliers In Corio (après des Martin en cuir brun) et comme la première fois, je ne suis absolument pas décu. Ce sont des souliers de qualité, très bien finis et d'un confort incroyable dés la première fois. A tel point que je crois que In Corio devrait changer sa cible commerciale, ils ne fabriquent pas des souliers mais des pantoufles d'extérieur :-) Le cuir est de très bonne qualité, j'ai un pied assez difficile, avec moi le cuir marque très rapidement ce qui n'est pas le cas ici malgré de longues marches les premières fois. Ça ne sera définitivement pas ma dernière paire In Corio d'autant que vue la qualité, le prix est tout-à-fait raisonnable.

I - ALTERNATE
By alternating your In Corio shoes every day, you allow the leather to dry and breathe, thus preventing it from aging prematurely. Ideally, you should not wear a pair more than twice a week. That's why we encourage you to own multiple pairs with our degressive prices.
II - USE SHOES TREES
As soon as you take off your In Corio footwear, the red cedar shoe trees take over in each pair. They maintain the shape of your shoes and help smooth out the creases caused by walking. Red cedar efficiently absorbs moisture and lends your shoes a delicate scent.
III - PROTECT
When you have worn your shoes about five times, we recommend that you have a rubber pad put on the sole and an embedded iron tip on the toe. This simple, inexpensive procedure will protect your footwear from damp, increase adherence and greatly extend the lifespan of your soles.
IV - NOURISH
For regular and quick care (ideally every 3 wears), the In Corio nourishing cream is what you need: it moisturizes, nourishes, and revives the color of the leather in moments. Dust off the shoes with a brush, then apply the cream in a circular motion using a cotton cloth. Pay special attention to the creases. Let it dry for at least 10 minutes on shoe trees, and then shine with a polishing brush.
V - SHINE
For an added shine, in addition to the nourishing cream, use the In Corio shining wax. Enriched with beeswax, it waterproofs and protects your shoes. Apply the shining wax using the same method as the cream, but in smaller quantities, with a focus on the tips of your shoes.
VI - REPAIR (OR RATHER HAVE REPAIRED)
When the time comes, your cobbler can work wonders to repair your shoes: replacing the sole, the heel, the insole, eyelets, buckles, elastic on boots... They can even slightly widen or narrow your shoes. A valuable ally when you need them.
